Are you a school class visiting Cittadella?

In addition to a guided tour of Cittadella we suggest you learn some old medieval crafts!

The content of the workshop can be adapted to suit the needs of the class. Each workshop runs with a minimum 20 and a maximum of 30 participants. The duration of the workshops are approximate and can vary depending on arrangements and needs of the class.

Here are our proposals:

Proposal 1 – Guided Tour of Cittadella:
The tour includes the famous parapet walk that allows a beautiful view on the town and its surroundings from its height of 14 m. You will also visit some historical buildings like Pretorial Palace, the Tower of Malta with its archaeological museum, the Theatre and the Cathedral.

Duration: 2 ½ hours

Fee: 2,00 € per person + 35,00 € per group

Proposal 2 – Workshop:
You can choose from one of the following workshops: The Art of Gothic Writing, Moulding with Clay, Leather Crafting. At the end of the workshop you will be given a nice souvenir to take along together with the artifact that you created yourself.

Duration: 1h 30 min

Fee: 5,50 € per person

Proposal 3 – Learn to read old manuscripts:
In this workshop you will learn with the help and support of an expert paleographer from Cittadella how to grasp and understand the reading of an historical manuscripts.

Duration: 1h 30 min

Fee: 4,50 € per person

Proposal 4 – Parapet Walk and Workshop:
This proposal includes a guided tour on the parapet walk plus a visit to the Malta Tower and a workshop of your choice.

Duration: whole morning

Fee: € 7 per person

Proposal 5 – Guided Tour and Workshop:
This proposal includes a guided tour of the town and after lunch one of our workshops.

Duration: whole day

Fee: € 10,00 per person (lunch not included)
